Chewacla was one of the projects from the Civilian Conservation Corps after the Great Depression. It is a located in the Auburn area and is a popular site for many people on Game Days. This park is becoming popular with mountain bikers and is a local swimming spot in the Summer. The park has several different trails that range from moderate to easy.
