Eagle Creek Park is the largest parks in Indianapolis, Indiana. It has 1,400 acres of water and 3,900 acres of forest. This park is filled with things to do: 15 miles of trails, picnic areas, playgrounds, a small beach, fishing, kayaking, a discovery center and ornithology center.

The grounds are typically open year-round from 7 am to dusk. That may vary per season.

There is an admission fee for entering the park. Daily $6 for non-Marion County residents ($5 for in-county) or $60 for an annual pass ($50 for in-county).

Trail Area Highlights

Check out the Earth Discovery Center (EDC) and Ornithology Center. They’re great stops for a free story time, to check out native reptiles, birds, fish or native plants. At the EDC you can also pick up an activity packet, a tree ID map, or get trail recommendations.
