About This Area
[Total: 0 Average: 0/5]
This sprawling park in Virginia Beach marks the first location in the state reached by English settlers in 1607. The park has two entrances (Shore Drive and 64th Street at the oceanfront) and features miles of hiking/biking trails and camping, as well as beach access on the Chesapeake Bay.
The beach here is great for kids, as there is little surf or current in the Bay. The beach parking lot also has restrooms, a small museum, and outdoor showers.
