Harrison Bay State Park is a large park, convenient to Chattanooga and Dayton, Tennessee. There are multiple camping loops, a marina, a playground, and several hiking trails ranging from less than a mile to over four miles.

Many of the trails here run beside the lake at Harrison Bay. During low water the shore beside the lake is accessible, though can be very muddy.

The park also offers guided hikes and ranger programs, and has a public swimming area open during the summer.

I am the Branch Ambassador for Hike It Baby Chattanooga. A native of Richmond, VA, I spent most of my adolescence and early adulthood hiking and camping in the Blue Ridge Mountains, and once my children were born started taking them on adventures with me! I am a portrait photographer and freelance writer, trying to hike my way through all the trails southeastern Tennessee has to offer.
