About This Area
Located on Virginia’s Eastern Shore, Kiptopeke State Park is a relatively small park with lots to offer. Play at the beach, view the concrete ships offshore from land or by kayak, camp in a variety of spots, including a yurt and some very nice new cabins, hike or bike the trails. There is also a boat ramp, playground, and raptor viewing area.
Most trails in the park are fairly short and family friendly; the Baywoods trail is stroller friendly if you avoid the boardwalk trailheads.
Daily rate is $7 for Virginia residents, $10 for out-of-state residents or peak days.
