Alta Vista Botanical Gardens
About This Trail
Alta Vista Botanical Gardens is a great hidden gem located in Vista. They have a cute children’s garden that is full of activities for kids including a music garden! There is also a Prehistoric Garden that includes dinosaur statues, a pond, labyrinth, and much more. The garden is on a hill so some of the trails are fairly steep, so just be prepared to get a workout in. Some trails have steps so they wouldn’t be stroller friendly, but there are enough flat trails that you could bring an off road friendly stroller if needed. There are porta potties located throughout the garden and a gift shop. There is a small fee per person to enter the garden. Please check their website for hours and prices. http://www.altavistagardens.org/
