Arthur Philips Jr Memorial Trail to Chicago Bog
About This Trail
Chicago Bog is a part of the Lime Hollow Nature Center. It’s a one mile trail that goes through the forest to a bog and floating dock. Along the way there are interpretive panels that explain and give the history of vernal ponds, eskers, trees, and the bog. Some animals you might see on this trail are birds, squirrels, frogs, turtles, and many others. The little hikers will love the floating dock. Lots of frogs, birds, and bugs to check out. Lime Hollow Nature Center trails are open dusk until dawn. Dogs are not allowed on this trail but on the nearby Lehigh Valley Trail.

Hike it Baby Trail Guide is managed by the Family Trail Guide team. If a trail has been “abandoned” by the initial owner, it gets adopted by the team. Also, if there are no trails in the area, the Family Trail Guide team researches trails that are family friendly in the area to insure that hikes cover all areas where Hike it Baby hikes.
