Azalea Glen Little Loop
About This Trail
The Azalea Glen Little Loop is a 1.4 mile flat loop that starts in Paso Picacho Campground. This trail is great for young kids because it is flat, has shaded sections, and has interesting things to see like bridges and burnt tree stumps. There was a fire through the area a few years ago, so the juxtaposition of the tall black trees poking out of the green underbrush is really beautiful. The trail is stroller friendly too. It’s a great little trail to do if you are camping nearby, after climbing one of the local peaks, or if you are passing through and kids need to stretch their legs.
