This is a challenging hike with a baby on your back. Recommended for strong hikers ages 4+. Your legs will burn, but you will be rewarded with amazing views of Mt. Ashland. There are two loop options which are both about three miles. You can take the Snark trail to loop to the right or you can follow all the Bandersnatch signs and connect into the Ashland Loop road and have a short pavement walk back to your car.

Hey Everyone! I’ve been involved with Hike it Baby since July 2016. Back then, I loved leading adult-paced hikes where we could get a little workout. Now that we have two growing kids, I love to lead preschool hikes and explorations where we can share our parks and trails with our little ones. You’ll find me hosting hikes and other events in Ashland each week.
