Bear Lake Nature Trail
About This Trail
Bear Lake Nature Trail is a short and relatively flat .7 mile loop around Bear Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park. It is heavily trafficked and you’ll likely meet many other families with young children in the trail. The lake and views are beautiful, and there are plenty of benches to stop and take breaks at. The trail is packed rock—a jogging stroller would have no problem.
At the trail head take the right fork for the loop. If you’d like to venture beyond Bear Lake, take the fork to the left. The trail heads up to Emerald Lake.
