About This Trail

[Total: 0    Average: 0/5]

This is a short-but-steep trail to a grassy bald with near-360 degree views.  Cows are often found grazing at the top of the mountain.

There are two options for getting to the top – once you enter the gate, you can go left up the gravel road, or right up the dirt trail.  We often go up the trail and down the road.

Shaded Hike, Viewpoint, and Wildlife Viewing

The view from the top is gorgeous and will make you think you are in an alpine meadow (especially if the cows are there). It is often colder here than in the towns below, so dress warmer than you think you need to.

I joined Hike it Baby in 2014 when my son was just 2 months old.  A year later, I became an Ambassador for the Greenville, SC branch.  I love raising my kids on the trail and meeting so many like-minded families!
