Boundary Creek Natural Resource Area
About This Trail
If you want a huge dose of nature in an easily accessible area this is it. A small parking lot is located near the bathrooms and picnic tables. Behind these is a small gazebo and pond where you can frequently see fish and frogs. This area is paved. As you head further down the trails there is a sundial where you use your body’s shadow to see the date and time. Past the sundial the path turns to fine gravel. The trail is very clear and makes a large loop around the park with a connecting trail through the middle. Along the way there are out and back lookouts and shelters to bird watch from. You can see many birds and deer in this small area. There are both open and wooded areas and some of the lookouts are on the Rancocas so there is always something to see.

A Washington native I have spent the last few years experiencing what New Jersey has to offer because I can’t imagine parenting indoors.
