About This Trail

[Total: 2    Average: 3.5/5]

A loop trail of just over 1 mile in length, Stony Bluff Creek Trail is a great one for small hikers and adults alike! The majority of the trail is heavily wooded and mostly flat, though there are a few slight elevation changes. There is a small section that parallels the creek with some drop off. Kids enjoy the freedom to run ahead for most of this hike – caregivers can generally see well ahead on the trail.

Note: this trail is all single track dirt and thus can get quite muddy after a rain and there are several narrow spots that make it a tight squeeze for off road strollers.

I’m Erin, mom of one human child and four furry ones. I’m a dog trainer by trade, though currently a mostly stay at home parent. My son and I are out hiking at LEAST once a week, often more, with one or two of his furry siblings. When not outside hiking or playing, I’m often found training my dogs, reading, doing yoga, or surfing facebook for the most recent cute otter video.
