About This Trail

[Total: 0    Average: 0/5]

This nature conservancy is an amazing loop trail for little hikers! It’s shaded during the hot months and is about a mile long with lots of different sights to see. There is a creek that runs along part of the trail and a couple places to stop and look at it. There is a bamboo forest, a couple wooden bridges, benches for resting or snacking, and a lot of wildlife to view. In the warmer months there are almost always little lizards sunning themselves on the path and there are birds everywhere.

This is a highly trafficked trail and you meet a lot of leashed dogs.

I am a mama of two boys. I love drinking tea and am a better mom when we are outside exploring nature (and when I have tea). I have a family bike and love it. I enjoy baking, cooking, and eating my creations. I love the idea of yoga, but never seem to be consistent in finding time to practice. I love reading, but again rarely find the time. My family just ventured into urban farming. I love sour beers and delicious food. I work for a local non-profit as a training coordinator, and volunteer as a Branch Ambassador for our local HiB community and for the HiB Localized Support National volunteer team.

About The Guide

Hike it Baby Family Trail Guide is an online resource to help families with children source trails that little legs can hike and parents can feel comfortable with. Hike details are sourced and have been hiked by families who participate in our community. Our contributors do their best to give you all the details they can, but if something is missed, you can reach out to the contributor and offer suggestions for them to add to make it a better trail description for all. This guide was built with a generous 3-year partnership with L.L Bean. Like Hike it Baby, L.L Bean believes that helping get families into nature from birth on is key to healthier, happier communities.
