There are a few side trails, but I’ll describe the longest trail here. Starting at the trailhead across from the elementary school, it’s a gentle grade down to the lake. The wooden dock has been renovated recently and here is a wonderful spot turtles, frogs, and water fowl. The larger open area near the dock has a trail to a parking lot that holds about 10 cars. Continuing around the lake you’ll climb to a viewpoint and lollipop your way back to the trailhead. There are boardwalks, wetlands, gentle hills, and lots of wide open views. An all-terrain stroller should work along the main trail, however there are a few easy steps and hills.

Hi! I’m Lani. I’ve been a branch ambassador since Jan ’17.  I now have two children: Oliver 3, Mavis 6 months.  I love to hike all the trails and am so grateful to have found HiB!
