Red Rock Canyon Open Space - Rim Trail and Red Rock Canyon Trail Loop
About This Trail
You will park at the second parking lot for this trail (once you reach the stop sign by the first parking lot, continue straight to the second parking lot). From the parking lot you will see the trail head on the east side. This trail starts off with a short, but rocky incline to the upper loop bluff. If using a stroller, you might need some assistance. You start on the Rim Trail to the Red Rock Canyon Trail to complete a 2.2 mile loop. This trail is all-terrain stroller friendly, but mostly a steady incline at the beginning and decline at the end. At the end of the loop there is a small lake and a pavilion. This area is popular for mountain bikers, so be aware. Leashed dogs are welcome.

I have lived in Colorado Springs since 2010, and really enjoy hiking! I became active with Hike it Baby in April 2016 and fell in love with carrier hikes. I became a branch ambassador for the Colorado Springs branch in February 2018. I now help with the national team with localized support and the LEAP program. I currently host and enjoy toddler led and stroller hikes.
