Danforth Trail
About This Trail
Danforth Trail next to the Marstons Mills airport is short but unique. Parking is across Race Lane from the Airport and can be found on the Adventure Map. The main trail is short and steep down to Mystic lake but if you go right at the split it will bring you under Race Lane by way of an old cow tunnel. You can continue north along the trail past the Airport to the West Barnstable conservation land if you so chose. Access at the lake is just a small brake in the trees with an interesting view of the lake but no beach.

Hike it Baby Trail Guide is managed by the Family Trail Guide team. If a trail has been “abandoned” by the initial owner, it gets adopted by the team. Also, if there are no trails in the area, the Family Trail Guide team researches trails that are family friendly in the area to insure that hikes cover all areas where Hike it Baby hikes.
