About This Trail

[Total: 0    Average: 0/5]

This network of trails resides in the Spring Lake/Lake Desire Park.  The main access road will lead you to the Echo Mountain summit at which is a view of Mt. Rainier on a clear day. The access road is gravel or dirt and is often home to several puddles, a kid favorite. Three access road turns right after about 0.15 miles, and the uphill behind there. Steady incline as you pass a few side trails, they are worth exploring if you’d like extra mileage. There’s a sign at the turn off for the viewpoint. After following the trail to the right the incline increases requiring stair stepping for a bit. The viewpoint is a large stone area with a few strubs and trees. Though she is far away, the view of Mt. Rainier is a very satisfying end to the climb.
