About This Trail

This beautiful little park has a lovely picnic area, a boat launch, and a rowing dock. Walk along the banks of the Snohomish river in either direction and enjoy watching the owls, osprey, eagles, and other raptors that hunt along the river, as well as teams of rowers practicing. The paved trail will wind along the river’s edge until it reaches the beautiful bridge at Spencer Island, a great place to let the kids get out and explore. Langus Riverfront Trail is 3 miles roundtrip, but you can add 3.5 miles to that by adding the loop on the southern half of Spencer Island, a wetland preserve and bird haven maintained by Snohomish County. After you leave the bridge at Spencer Island, return to Langus Riverfront Park via a gravel access road that between the retention ponds for the water treatment center.

Hello! I am a former Journeyman Wireman turned stay-at-home mom to my four beautiful children. After growing up in the hot desert of Las Vegas, we decided to make a change and move to beautiful Snohomish County WA. I found my community here through Hike it Baby, and I now work to facilitate that for others. If you’re ever in my neck of the woods, come join me on a hike!
