About This Trail

[Total: 0    Average: 0/5]

Flowing Well Park Trail, as the name implies, starts at a natural well. The park has 1.5 miles of walking trails but none are named. The path starts paved and then turns into a grassy or dirt pathway (depending on the season). This makes ADA and stroller accessible for the initial portion of the trail.

This a great place to check out wildflowers, do some creek stomping, collect seashells or just play on the sandbank. There is also a nice boardwalk bridge.

The well is a great place to start or wrap-up a hike. Bring an empty water bottle or milk jug. Fun fact: The well is a natural underground reservoir and has produced water since 1902, reportedly at 15 gallons per minute.

The creek that runs through the park is perfect for creek stomping. Make sure to check the weather and rain levels though, as it can rise fairly quickly. The sandbanks are also great for collecting seashells or getting skipping stones. The trails run right next to the banks for easy access.
