Government Camp - Trillium Lake
About This Trail
Mt. Hood makes an amazing backdrop at Trillium Lake just at the parking lot. There is a 2 mile flat, off-road stroller friendly loop that goes around the lake (currently a portion of the trail is closed due to a broken boardwalk). Fishing is allowed and there is a campground as well as tons of picnic tables for day trips.
The road to the lake closes in the winter but it is also a great snowshoe trail although it makes it 4 miles total.
Great for toddlers!
