About This Trail
[Total: 0 Average: 0/5]
This trail takes you to a hidden mountainside cave that provided shelter for local ostracized British loyalists during the Revolutionary War. A steep descent with staircases takes you to the cave, and signage at the trailhead tells the story of the people who stayed there.
You can also view Tory’s Falls from the trail.
The trail is short (about .5 mile out and back) but steep terrain can be difficult for smaller kids. There is a large area of dropoff near the cave that could be a hazard for toddlers or squirrelly kids.
