About This Trail
Larus Park is a hidden gem nestled between two major roads (Chippenham Parkway and Huguenot Road). It’s an urban explorer’s dream of rolling forest landscape with streams that are ideal for the toddlers or pups to play in.The forests are full of many species of trees with lots of different trails to explore. Many small creatures can be found when one stops to look. There are a few hills but mostly gentle slopes. There are roughly 4 miles of trails in the park. The average hike will be 1 to 2 miles. There are many different trail equations to take so, it’s easy to find something new with each visit. The trails themselves are mostly well maintained and very kid friendly. The trails are shared with mountain bikers and hikers but majority of users are on foot.
