Loop Trail
About This Trail
The loop trail on the map is a 4.4-mile loop around the entire nature preserve. For little ones I typically hike a smaller loop making it 1.2 miles. On the map the trail follows the loop trail, then hooks up with long pond bypass and remeets the loop trail.

Hi! I’m Liz and the branch ambassador for Hike it Baby Merrimack Valley! I have always loved hiking in the White Mountains of New Hampshire since I was little, and am excited to continue to explore with my little one! It was much easier when he was in the backpack (at least for him!) now that he is 2 and walking on his own, we’ve had to tone down our adventures to shorter more local trails. We are loving exploring more in Southern New Hampshire with the occasional venture into the Whites! We like to get out in all seasons, all weather, all the time! Looking forward to meeting you and have some adventures!
