Malta Community Park
About This Trail
The Malta Community Park is located in a forest of pine trees. The sandy plain area, which used to be an old glacial lake, is the active recreational area of the park. A nature trail follows the valley of a small stream where there is an abundance of wildflowers, ferns, mosses, and other vegetation. The paved trail to this park is the Parade Ground Trail. Pets are allowed, leashed, on trails but prohibited on the active areas of the parks and fields. Magnificent climbing rope structure. Most of park and trail is shaded. Trail is well maintained. Great place for an afternoon picnic or morning walk.
