Marshall Park Trail
About This Trail
A low-trafficked, beautifully forested neighborhood gem, Marshall Park Trail is a short loop that can be extended or shortened depending on the endurance of little legs. There are limited parking options at the small round-a-bout that 12th Street dead-ends at. Often, there is parking available, as this park seems to be primarily used by locals coming in on foot.
The trail provides multiple bridge crossings, gradual inclines and slopes, a out-and-back to a slow flowing creek bed with a large log crossing, and an excellent “base camp” area near the parking with picnic tables, a trash can, a playground, a nature play and learn area, and a low creek to jump in. It’s the perfect place to get a walk in as a family and bring a packed lunch for some down-time afterwards at the playground and tables.

Hike it Baby Trail Guide is managed by the Family Trail Guide team. If a trail has been “abandoned” by the initial owner, it gets adopted by the team. Also, if there are no trails in the area, the Family Trail Guide team researches trails that are family friendly in the area to insure that hikes cover all areas where Hike it Baby hikes.
