The park offers year-round hiking trails and two outstanding vistas looking over the countryside.  A portable toilet located at the parking lot.

There is a moderate incline up the trail, and a small system of trails at the top, to get to overlook take the first right and then the next right and follow out to overlook. There are lovely bench pavilions at each over look. Keep watch on children, there is a steep hill at this overlook with no barriers. You can take loop back around down the hill. Once back at the nature center take trail down around, where you may find an intermittent stream depending on the time of year. If you’d like to see the other overlook, take trail off shoot across the road. Please use cation crossing the road and pick trail back up on the other side. Again there is some moderate elevation up to the second overlook, which also has a bench pavilion. There is a small loop on this side of the Forest. Take trail up hill and go to the left to get to overlook, or if you’d like to add some distance go right and take trail out and back to overlook, which makes a small loop. Head back down trail and recross the road, and head right to finish loop back to the nature center and trail head.
