Naga-Waukee Park
About This Trail
As one of the eight Waukesha County Parks, Naga-Waukee Park is located just off the freeway and along the Ice Age Trail. Follow the short wooded trails and long boardwalks down to the beach at Nagawicka Lake (a nice little playground is down there but you do have to walk a ways from parking), or you can pop onto the paved Lake Country Trail/Ice Age trail on the south end of the park. This park also features a large multipurpose field excellent for kite flying or letting littles run free in the open.

Trail highlights
The hike down the boardwalk to the beach would be slippery during winter if it’s icy conditions; even in rain use caution there.
I’ve seen this park done with a stroller but don’t particularly recommend that.

About The Guide
Hike it Baby Family Trail Guide is an online resource to help families with children source trails that little legs can hike and parents can feel comfortable with. Hike details are sourced and have been hiked by families who participate in our community. Our contributors do their best to give you all the details they can, but if something is missed, you can reach out to the contributor and offer suggestions for them to add to make it a better trail description for all. This guide was built with a generous 3-year partnership with L.L Bean. Like Hike it Baby, L.L Bean believes that helping get families into nature from birth on is key to healthier, happier communities.
