About This Trail

BEYOND BEAUTIFUL! Pratt Loop is a toddler friendly loop, at just 1.3 miles with no elevation change. You walk though the farm fields, past historical buildings, and through the woods. The view of Ebey’s Landing is simply breathtaking. The trail can get a little muddy during the winter months, but what child doesn’t love stomping in puddles and mud. Composting toilets conveniently located at the start of the trail. All-terrain stroller friendly, winter months more difficult, not wide enough for a double stroller. Plenty of parking in the gravel lot. Don’t be surprised to see an Eagle here. This trail connects to a large network of others via the Kettles Trail and the Bluff Trail if you’d like to extend your hike.

Hello! I am one of the Branch Ambassadors for the Bend, Oregon branch. My daughter was born July 2015 and I didn’t discover HiB until May 2016! I wish I had found it sooner! We find getting outside calms us. It doesn’t matter if it’s sunny, rainy, windy, or even snowing, we always try and get out! We are blessed with so many wonderful trails and places to explore near by. I originally founded the Whidbey Island, Washington Branch after discovering HiB.
