About This Trail

[Total: 0    Average: 0/5]

This is a 4.4-mile loop, the highlight of which is a striking view of Lake Keowee from above.  There is also a small “beach” access to the lake at one point along the trail.

For a shorter hike, you may make the trek to Raven Rock as an out-and-back from the Natural Bridge Trail.  This option is about 3.5 miles total.  To take this route, follow the Natural Bridge trail to the right, to the place where the Raven Rock trail splits off to the right.  Follow that trail to another fork, then go left.  After you reach Raven Rock, you may return the way you came.  When you reach Natural Bridge trail, you have the option to turn left to return the same way you came, or turn right to finish the Natural Bridge loop.

I joined Hike it Baby in 2014 when my son was just 2 months old.  A year later, I became an Ambassador for the Greenville, SC branch.  I love raising my kids on the trail and meeting so many like-minded families!

About The Guide

Hike it Baby Family Trail Guide is an online resource to help families with children source trails that little legs can hike and parents can feel comfortable with. Hike details are sourced and have been hiked by families who participate in our community. Our contributors do their best to give you all the details they can, but if something is missed, you can reach out to the contributor and offer suggestions for them to add to make it a better trail description for all. This guide was built with a generous 3-year partnership with L.L Bean. Like Hike it Baby, L.L Bean believes that helping get families into nature from birth on is key to healthier, happier communities.
