This 4.2 mile trail around Reeds Lake utilizes sidewalks, paved pathways and boardwalks. Signs that include maps are posted at key locations of the Reeds Lake Trail, which features natural wooded areas, wetlands, and residential areas. Depending on where you’re traveling from, there are several access points including: a lot across from Waterfront Park(highly recommended), Remington Park, Manhattan Park, John Collins Park(street parking), or street parking in the downtown area(Gaslight Village). Restrooms can be found at the parks when they aren’t closed for the season. The KDL East Grand Rapids Library/City Building also has restrooms and water.

Trail highlights

Boardwalk, Fishing, Lake, Picnic Area, Viewpoint, and Wildlife Viewing

Directly across the street from the parking lot off the trail is Waterfront Park. There’s a short boardwalk where you’ll frequently find people fishing. Just north of here is another longer boardwalk that’s great for spotting fish, sunning turtles, various water fowl, as well as sailboats.
