The Halifax trail runs for 2.3 miles in Ringwood State Park and then continues into Ramapo Valley County Reservation. We typically only hike about 1 mile of it. From Parking lot A, we take the white trail to the Halifax trailhead (about 1/2 mile). We hike up to the lookout point and then come back.
