Scouter's Mountain Nature Park
About This Trail
Enjoy views of the surrounding valley and, in the distance, Mount Hood. Eat a picnic in the huge shelter. Also a great place to do a short hike on a rainy day because you can spend time in the shelter playing.
Walk through a forest with trees more than a century old, including some that have grown here for 220 years. The trail through the forest is about a mile long. A quarter-mile loop at the top of the hill is wheelchair accessible.
Explore throughout the year for different highlights: trillium and wood violets in the spring, dazzling views during summer, mushrooms in the fall, Pacific wren calls when winter arrives.

Hike it Baby Trail Guide is managed by the Family Trail Guide team. If a trail has been “abandoned” by the initial owner, it gets adopted by the team. Also, if there are no trails in the area, the Family Trail Guide team researches trails that are family friendly in the area to insure that hikes cover all areas where Hike it Baby hikes.
