Getting There
Take the Mt. Rose Hwy NV 431 from south Reno and drive up to the Mt. Rose summit. Continue a short distance and you’ll see the parking area and trailhead for the Tahoe Rim Trail on the left. There is more parking short distance further, on wide shoulders on both sides of the highway. You will see the boardwalk paths and stairs from the roadside onto these boardwalks. The loop is half boardwalk and half within the pine forest. Nearest convenience store would be in Incline Village.
