Wander Lake Loop
About This Trail
Wander Lake is a simple 2.44 mile walk in the Fountainhead Wedgewood Bird Sanctuary, located near Creamer’s Field. This walk can be done all year long and is perfect for toddlers and children. You can spot wild animal tracks, find hints left behind from the animals that call this area home, and look for squirrel middens. If you listen closely you can hear the squirrels talk and possibly a wood pecker. It’s the perfect place to enjoy nature in the middle of the city. In the summer you can spend time watching the many ducks and birds that are found here, there is even a bird blind.
