About This Trail

[Total: 0    Average: 0/5]

With plenty of camping stops along the way, this point-to-point trail can be tackled over a series of days or you can pick smaller sections for a scenic day hike. The trail travels through glacial features such as eskers and kettle lakes, pine and oak forests, as well as swamps and open meadows remaining from abandoned farmlands. There are sections of the trail that are open to horseback riding and mountain biking so be sure to download a detailed map from the Michigan DNR. Depending on the time year be sure to pack your bug spray and get ready for some hills.

Hike it Baby Trail Guide is managed by the Family Trail Guide team. If a trail has been “abandoned” by the initial owner, it gets adopted by the team. Also, if there are no trails in the area, the Family Trail Guide team researches trails that are family friendly in the area to insure that hikes cover all areas where Hike it Baby hikes.
